- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Torio is never available for appointments! I have been fighting a sciatic problem for 10 weeks now, and yes he will see me... But not until sometime at the end of the year! I was told my "problem wasn't important enough to be put in quicker!" I then (for some strange reason) attempted again, and was told the same thing! Guess they don't care how uncomfortable you are, even if you can't sleep at night! I would never recommend Dr. Torio to anyone, and I am working on changing my primary doctor immediately!August 24, 2017by brian klein
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I see Dr. Rulour Torio here and I cannot WAIT to find a new primary care provider. The staff in the reception area are so incredibly rude, I am floored how they somehow get away with treating people the way they do. When I came on as a new patient, the paperwork I was required to fill out never arrived to me in the mail and I had to fill it out in the waiting room before my appointment. I was treated like me not receiving my paperwork was entirely my fault, and was actually told that I "better hurry it up" with filling out the paperwork. Upon seeing Dr. Torio I feel like she did not look at my medical history whatsoever, and only decided to focus on my weight the entire visit (I was there to talk about getting back on anxiety medication, NOTHING regarding weight). I have struggled in the past with an eating disorder (LISTED IN MY MEDICAL HISTORY) and she badgered me about my current weight, even going so far as to tell me I "better lose a lot of weight fast before my next appointment." Because that's not triggering to someone who overcame an eating disorder... Every appointment since she has flipped so she can focus on my weight (which I am and have been healthily working on) and telling me I have to lose weight, though I have no health issues that correlate with my current weight. It is EXTREMELY frustrating, and when coupled with the rude receptionists makes me absolutely DREAD going to the doctor's office.
